The Scottish Rite is creating an Endowed Scholarship in honor of Most Worshipful Brother Kevin Hatfield, who served as our Grand Master in 1999. With this scholarship we seek to help the sons, daughters, grandchildren, and other students with a familial tie to a Master Mason. Often including youths that are actively involved in DeMolay, Rainbow Girls, and Job’s Daughters.

This endowed scholarship in Brother Hatfield’s honor will continue in perpetuity, beginning with a $1,000.00 annual payout and increasing over time as the value of the account increases with the market and/or added to with additional contributions. While we have made some great strides, our committee still has a lot to accomplish.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fully fund this Endowed Scholarship so that it may continue forever. We need your support to make this scholarship a reality and in doing so, we feel that we are accomplishing two things together with this noble effort: 1) we are investing in the

future of our own Masonic family and 2) we are manifesting our appreciation for Most Worshipful Brother Hatfield while he is still here with us, and not waiting until he no longer is.

Would you consider donating at one of the levels to help us achieve our goal? All individual donors, Lodges, and other organizations will be listed on a custom “Donors Plaque” to be hung in the oldest Masonic Lodge in our state, Washington Lodge #1 in Fayetteville.

If you have any questions, I would be happy to provide you with more information about how you can help us reach our goal financially or assist our committee in other ways. If individual brothers wish to make a contribution of their own, all donations are 100% tax-deductible.

We greatly appreciate your donation, and it will be used to create a gift that will keep on giving for generations to come.

Please join us! Together we can accomplish much if we all do our part! Thank you for your consideration on this exciting project.

Checks should be made out to the “Scottish Rite Foundation” with “Hatfield Scholarship” in the the memo line and mailed to: Hatfield Scholarship, Attn. Mitch Hensley, PO Box 2139, Little Rock, AR 72203.
